An excellent value for money. Sushi Bistro is still a hit after several years.
The restaurant sits on a quiet block in the inner Richmond, where a young and boisterous clientele fills the sunny room’s closely clustered tables.

Unique rolls are the main draw here. Expertly done, these signature offerings take on a pleasing Latino and Caribbean twist. Names reflect the chef’s sense of humor, as in the Magic Mushroom (chopped salmon and yellowtail mixed with macadamia pesto and topped with mushrooms, the flash-fried); and the Monster-in-Laws (chopped spicy albacore, cucumber, and green onion topped with yellowtail, jalapeno, and ponzu sauce).
Pleasure-seeking purists will be equally satisfied by the relatively large portions of sashimi and nigiri.
